Bad Company wasn’t built in a boardroom.

It wasn’t created by a marketing agency or backed by investors chasing the latest trend.

It was built by a Pennsylvania guy who spent decades serving his community, retired as a Captain with the Hazleton Police Department, and decided he wasn’t quite finished building things.

What started as a laser engraving business quickly evolved into something bigger. While custom engraving was rewarding, it became clear that the products people connected with most weren’t the personalized gifts or corporate orders. They were the designs with personality. The shirts that made people laugh. The patches that said what everyone was thinking. The gear that reflected a mindset.

That’s where Bad Company found its identity.

Today, Bad Company creates apparel, morale patches, tactical hats, bags, and gear inspired by blue-collar grit, military culture, first responders, the outdoors, Pennsylvania roots, and a healthy dose of sarcasm.

Many of our designs are influenced by the people we’ve worked alongside throughout the years: police officers, firefighters, EMTs, veterans, tradesmen, coal region families, and hard-working Americans who understand that life rarely goes according to plan. The result is a collection of products that celebrate resilience, humor, independence, and the ability to laugh when things inevitably go sideways.

Every design starts here. We create it, test it, wear it, and sell it face-to-face at festivals, food truck events, markets, and community gatherings across Pennsylvania. We pay attention to what makes people stop, laugh, point, and tell their friends to come look. If a design doesn’t connect with real people, it doesn’t stay.

Bad Company isn’t trying to be everything to everyone.
